The Shift Movement will host Evolve Atlanta: Birth 2012 and Beyond, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., December 22, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Atlanta. The date 12.22.2012 is believed by some to mark the moment when the Earth, Sun and center of the galaxy will all be in alignment. Spiritualists refer to this time as the end of one cycle and the beginning of a cycle when a new humanity is born.

Singers include Elise Witt, known for her songs of peace, joy and sustainability, and Angela Bennett. Other performers include Doctah B. Sirius, Aviva and the Flying Penguins, Jonn Serrie, Yogiray Kessler, Alan Dynin and Cherilynn Morrow. Poetry by Stephen Wing, words of peace by Reverend Lawrence Carter and Indian chants will complete the celebration and set the tone for a joyous holiday season.
