The Cool Dads Rock foundation will host their inaugural Soap Box Derby on August 3, at historic Fourth Ward Park. The event is open to everyone, providing a festive outdoor experience complete with food trucks, music, activities, display cars and the main attraction—the Soap Box Derby. Cars must be non-motorized and will be judged on speed, creativity and as fan favorites. Cool Dads Rock is a growing nonprofit organization aimed toward building lasting and memorable relationships between fathers and their children.
