Start planning for fresh, organic-fed, soy-free, pasture-raised chicken for 2014 with the Chicken CSA (community supported agriculture) at East West Farms, in Marietta. The chickens will be $5.30/pound with a deposit of $12 per bird.

In order to subscribe to the Chicken CSA, individuals must be a farm member with a $35 membership fee. Those that purchased farm shares from the East West Locally Grown Market will be at the front of the line (a full share includes farm/market membership).

CSA subscribers must commit to at least one bird per month from May to October. More volunteers to use their home as a pickup point in Douglasville, Smyrna, Midtown, Buckhead, Roswell, Alpharetta, Woodstock and East Cobb are needed.
