Savanna painter Katherine Sandoz will display an exhibition of her depiction of Georgia landscapes at the Hagedorn Foundation Gallery through March 21. Sandoz paints soft, luminous paintings that analyze and reframe small moments and neglected details of the day. She uses native, recycled, repurposed and up-cycled materials and playfully bonds them with conceptual twists and layered narratives.
Hagedorn Foundation Gallery opened in 2009 under the mentorship of Julian Cox, curator of photography at the Getty and High Museums.
Location: 425 Peachtree Hills Ave., Ste. 25, Atlanta. For more information,
