Atlanta Veg Fest 2015

Atlanta Veg Fest 2015 will be held from 10 a.m. t 5 p.m., November 7, in the Easley Conference Pavilion on the Atlanta Metropolitan State College campus. Featured speakers include Colleen Patrick-Goudreau, a recognized expert and thought leader on the culinary, social, ethical and practical aspects of living vegan.

Aysha Akhtar, M.D., MPH, is a neurologist and public health specialist on a mission to show what’s good for animals is also good for humans. She explains how many of our most urgent and pressing public health threats are connected with how animals are treated.

J.L. Fields is a vegan lifestyle coach and educator, personal chef, career coach and corporate consultant. She is also a Food for Life instructor and the co-creator of Real World Vegan Meal Plans.

Ellen Jaffe Jones, the author of Eat Vegan on $4 a Day, Kitchen Divided and Paleo Vegan, and a contributor to Running, Eating, Thinking, is also a certified personal trainer and running coach.

Nonprofit PlantBuilt is a collaboration of vegan strength-based athletes that compete annually to dispel the myth that vegans are weak and scrawny. PlantBuilt also raises much needed funds for farm sanctuaries and vegan outreach.
