Decatur Healings Arts will offer free mini-sessions with multiple practitioners during its 13^th annual open house September 10.

“We’re the best kept secret in Decatur,” said owner Susan Johnson. “People see Decatur Healing Arts and they don’t know what that means. So come in and see what that means.”

Open house participants can choose classes, demonstrations or therapies in 20-minute sessions. Choices include four different yoga classes, acupuncture group sessions, reflexology and energetic healing. Demo topics include guided meditation, the Alexander Technique and The Future of Orthopedic Pain Relief.

DHA’s open house also features a silent auction, with massages, facials and energy healing sessions up for bid. Bidders can also try to win a health consultation, a tapping session and art. Auction sales will benefit Second Helpings Atlanta, which collects surplus food from area restaurants, grocery stores, farmers and schools then delivers those goods to agencies that feed Atlanta’s hungry.
