Nominate Favorite Charities for Free Advertising
Charity Navigator’s 2017 Metro Market Study reports that Atlanta ranks 12 out of 30 metropolitan markets across the United States for contributions to charities, with $3.45 million as the median in total contributions for local organizations. Contributions are described as the sum of donations and grants an organization receives from individuals and governments.
NA wants to help increase exposure and assistance to non-profits by offering a full year of monthly ¼-page advertising space in Natural Awakenings Atlanta, or the equivalent thereof, free for one local non-profit.
Readers may nominate their favorite charity by Oct. 10. The criteria are that the charity is a registered 501 (c) (3) and actively works within the Metro Atlanta area.
