Gluten-Free and Allergen-Free Wellness Event at Gwinnett Center

Doctors, food manufacturers, chefs and consumers interested in gluten-free living will gather at the Gwinnett Center on May 5 to learn about celiac and other food allergies. Speakers will share information and answer questions about celiac disease and gluten sensitivity, getting started on a gluten-free diet and living with food allergies and sensitivities.

Leah McGrath, a dietician for Ingles (voted best gluten-free market in Atlanta), will explain how to be a savvy gluten-free shopper, and chefs Tracey Bloom, Sue Snape and Ken Immer will lead cooking demonstrations. Julie and Charlie Mayfield, best-selling authors of Paleo Comfort Foods, will make presentations, along with Mrs. Northwest 2013, Brandy Wendler, who will discuss living heart-healthy with celiac.
