Inclusion and Environmentalism Roundtable

The Environmental Professionals of Color-Atlanta Chapter will hold the inaugural Environmental Diversity and Inclusion Roundtable from 8:30 a.m. to noon, January 20, at Southface, to champion an inclusive environmental movement.

Keynote speaker Daniel Blackman, a managing partner at Social Karma, will be joined by Madeline Reamy, executive director of EarthShare of Georgia, Garry A Harris, president of HTS Enterprises, Angelou Ezelio, executive director of the Greening Youth Foundation, and Charles Orgbon III, CEO of Greening Forward.

The topic of discussion is that despite making up 36 percent of the population, people of color are minimally represented in the staff of environmental organizations and are also disproportionately affected by environmental issues.

Cost is free if preregistered, $10 at the door. Location: 241 Pine St. NE, Atlanta, with free parking. Register online at epocatlanta.webs.com/mlk-day-roundtable.
