Farmer Duane Marcus will lead a five-week, hands-on workshop in organic gardening from February 1 through March 29. Participants will learn how to use Earth-friendly, organic techniques to grow delicious, nutrient-dense food.

Classes include Gardening Foundations, Garden Planning, Seed Starting and Pest Control. The final class will introduce permaculture strategies, including food forests, culinary and medicinal herbs, edible landscapes, rainwater harvesting and perennial foods. Each class will be divided between work in the classroom and the garden.
