CHaRM Fundraiser for the Environment

The Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM) will hold its inaugural fundraiser March 10 at Piedmont Park’s historic Greystone bathhouse. CHaRM has already begun selling raffle tickets to win a 2016 BMW i3 from Global Imports. This luxury, all-electric vehicle imagines a world powered by performance and inspiring design and efficiency; and one lucky winner will get to take it home.

The evening, hosted by Atlanta City Council member Alex Wan and the Live Thrive Atlanta Board of Directors, includes entertainment by Yacht Rock Revue, fare from a top Atlanta restaurant, specialty cocktails and other adult beverages. CHaRM is Atlanta’s first permanent facility for the recycling of objects that are too harmful or bulky to place at the curb, They divert thousands of pounds of household hazardous waste, bulky trash and other hard-to-recycle items from local homes, water supplies and landfills

All-inclusive event tickets are $50 per person. Raffle tickets are $100 each and can be purchased in advance or on-site. Location: 400 Park Dr. NE, Atlanta. Tickets and raffle items are available at LiveThrive.org.
