The 10th annual Urban Forest Festival celebrates spring and Atlanta’s urban forests from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 2, at the Outdoor Activity Center. The event is sponsored by the West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, in cooperation with the USDA Forest Service, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the National Wildlife Federation.

Participants will learn about our incredible urban forests and their wildlife inhabitants via educational and entertaining exhibits, live wildlife, guided hikes and tours of the 26-acre urban forest. There will be food sampling, giveaways and hands-on activities and demonstrations.
