New Environmental Summer Camp Enrolling Now

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he inaugural Junior TreeKeepers Atlanta Environmental Summer Camp for middle and elementary school students will be held during June an July as an extension of Trees Atlanta’s popular youth environmental education programs, offered free to more than 20 schools in the metro Atlanta area to foster education about Atlanta’s urban forests, pollinator insects, community connections, environmental stewardship and the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum.

The camp provides five days each session of interactive and hands-on activities in environmental science, as well as field trips to local attractions such as Stone Mountain and 200-year-old forests. The middle school session runs from June 23 to 27, and the elementary school session from July 14 to 18.
