ISTA Cymatics Conference Open to All

Health care practitioners and the general public are welcome to attend the Cymatics Conference 2017 on November 11.

To be held at the Galloway School’s Chaddick Center for the Arts in Buckhead at 7 p.m., the conference will offer evidence-based discussion of the healing modality. Cymatics is the practice of using sound to bypass the logical mind to attempt to heal stress and inflammation through deeper relaxation, according to CymaticsConference.com. This deeper state of relaxation purports to help the body rejuvenate and repair.

Guest speakers will include Mandara Cromwell, founder and board president of the International Sound Therapy Association; John Stuart Reid, acoustics engineer, scientist and inventor; and composer and educator John Oliverio, executive director of the Digital Worlds Institute at the University of Florida since 2001.

Topics will include “Sound Healing, Scientific Insights” and the concept of “Tone Color.” The event will also feature the premier of a new multi-media work by Oliverio.

“Much of what is presented at the Cymatics Conference includes tips you can weave into your daily life,” according to CymaticsConference.com. “Learn to use the power of sound to achieve your optimum states of health.”

Tickets are $25. For more information visit CymaticsConference.com or IstaSounds.org.
