Wanderlust Tour Brings Wellness Festivities to Atlanta
On April 6 and 7, Wanderlust brings a two-day yoga-oriented festival to Atlanta’s Piedmont Park with diverse yoga, fitness and wellness programming from world-renowned teachers.
Attendees can choose from more than 50 classes per day in yoga, meditation, fitness, silent disco and more. Activities will be held outdoors and within six tented venues on the festival grounds. Offerings of local foods, craft vendors, healers, live music and more will round out the festival’s experience.
For 10 years, Wanderlust has brought together teachers, experts, musicians and creators at luxury destination resorts around the U.S. for transformational experiences. This year, organizers are bringing the festival to a selection of cities around the country for two- to four-day festivals. Their first stop is Atlanta. Other cities on their tour include Seattle, San Francisco, Denver and New York City (Brooklyn).
Featured “guides” and speakers include Kathryn Budig, Dana Flynn, Faith Hunter, Dr. Chelsea Jackson Roberts, Lauren Ash, Light Watkins, Octavia Raheem and Lama Rod Owens.
Piedmont Park is located at 10th St. and Charles Allen Drive, Atlanta. Saturday-only tickets cost $141, Sunday-only tickets cost $116, and tickets for both days are $246. Student, military and local discounts are offered. Youths under age 18 can attend for free with a ticket-buying guardian. For more information, visit Wanderlust.com/Festivals/Atlanta.
