The West End’s Wonderful Wizards of Raw, an annual celebration of raw foods that also features speakers and entertainment, is expected to be bigger than ever this year, its seventh. It will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. on June 1.

Presented by Tassili’s Raw Reality Cafe, the event is expanding from Tassili’s backyard and spilling into the streets, becoming a full-blown neighborhood block party. There will be twice the number of vendors this year as last year.

In addition to more than 20 raw-food chefs, the 2019 event will feature a “Chef Un-Cook Off” competition with prizes including cash and gift cards.

On Sunday, a second day of celebration will feature a film screening at the I Am Ascension Temple of Love, from noon to 4 p.m., and a caravan to Cascade Nature Preserve for the Community Harvest Dance and Ancestor Commemoration, from 5 to 8 p.m.
