New Kids’ Yoga Class in Marietta
Melanie Sharp, founder of Heart for Kids Yoga, is teaching a yoga class for children ages 5 to 8 from 2 to 3 p.m. on 10 consecutive Sundays, beginning October 6, at the Marietta Center for Yoga and Well Being.
Sharp believes that yoga is a positive, non-competitive activity that allows children to blossom at their own pace and develop strength, coordination, focus, self-control and discipline. Her classes help children experience yoga in a kid-friendly, fun manner that includes movement, learning opportunities and a story time.
Cost is $110 for all 10 classes or $15 per drop-in. Location: 317 Alexander St. For more information, call 770-425-4488, email [email protected] or visit MariettaYoga.com.
