2021 6th Annual Black Sustainability Summit

Black & Green Voices Amplified at 6th Annual Black Sustainability Summit #BSS2021

Black Sustainability, Inc. is excited to announce the 6th Annual Black Sustainability Summit.

This year proves to continue to bring an unapologetic lineup of presenters of African descent and provide perspectives on leveraging resources available across sustainability disciplines. Attendees will learn from over 30 sustainability practitioners & leaders across the globe, each sharing hands-on workshops, high-impact stories of their work and how our communities can leverage available resources. Attendees will have access to a mix of pre-recorded presentations October 14 & 15 and live presentations all day on Oct. 16, 2021.

Our keynote panel consists of three youth organizations based in Ghana so attendees will gain a global perspective on sustainable agricultural practices in the Black community and learn how these organizations and local leaders are making the most of their passion to restore our planet.

The annual Black Sustainability Summit is the world's largest conference for sustainability practitioners of African descent. Our summit is a must attend event that creates a sacred space for Black practitioners across disciplines to network, inspire each other and to facilitate collective work.

There is no other event like ours under the sun. Past presenters have ranged from James Small (US), Shirley Sherrod (US), Cashawn Myers (Ghana), Raina Turner-Greenlea (US), Nobantu Ankoanda (US), Mwalimu Baruti (US), Moses West (US), Valerie Hill-Rawls (US), Dr. Ousman Pame (Senegal), Myriam Dondzina & Sueli Conceição (Brazil), and Ronal Miranda (Colombia) to name a few.
