About the Artist:

I sign my paintings MaRu which stands for Marion Ruth. Born in Brooklyn. NY, I had the easy access of visiting all of the art museums in NYC where I received great inspiration and taught myself the craft of painting.

To express myself fully, Intuitive Process Painting is a tool I use for my own healing. Simply practicing "not thinking and following my heart", I create expressive abstract paintings. Having a place to go (to the easel) and to have quiet time with my paint, brushes and canvas is the best gift of all.
