Independent natural food store Nuts ’n Berries will host its fourth annual Hemp Fest on Saturday, April 16, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at their Brookhaven location. 

“This year’s Hemp Fest is going to be epic!” says co-owner Mari Geier. “I’m very excited about the events that we’ve put together for 2022. Attendees will experience more of a festival atmosphere. With education at the core, we are taking it to the next level with social activities such as painting, journaling, massages, interactive lounges and prizes, all wrapped up in a single outdoor event. Add in live music and some amazing plant-based street food and you get the ultimate social cannabis experience.” 

Prominent CBD vendor Charlotte’s Web will have a presence at the event, as well as Atlanta’s own Georgia Hemp Company and Luna CBD. The latter will host a journaling session and a group painting experience, while the former will host a lounge in which attendees can “experience the differences among varying hemp strains in the flower form.” RGT (Real Good Tea), another Atlanta-based company, will host a tea bar with CBD-infused teas and free massages. There will also be a cannabis cooking demonstration by Chef Swan Simpson.

Hemp Fest promoters say there will be plenty of samples, giveaways and a “huge sale” on all things hemp and CBD.
