Love Serve Remember Foundation hosts the 5th Annual Ram Dass Legacy Summer Mountain Retreat from August 27 to 31, 2026, at the Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone, North Carolina. The five-day gathering brings together spiritual teachers, musicians and seekers for kirtan, meditation, sacred teachings, movement, nature walks and community practice.

The retreat continues the legacy of Ram Dass by creating a space for participants to step away from daily life, gather in satsang and reconnect with spiritual practice in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Krishna Das and his full band lead four nights of kirtan. Acharya Shunya shares teachings from Advaita Vedanta, Bhakti and Jnana Yoga, offering deep wisdom in accessible ways for modern seekers. David Nichtern offers meditation instruction, Buddhist wisdom and practice for all levels. Nina Rao shares sacred traditions of the Goddess, sunrise nature walks with mantra japa, explorations of the Ramayana, a chanting session of the Hanuman Chalisa and the 21 Taras Labyrinth Ceremony. Other activities include a live Chai n’ Chat Q&A session and a Sunday morning Mala Ceremony.

Programming also includes morning meditations, Buddhist and Bhakti teachings, ecstatic dance and satsang. “Each year, people come together in Boone to practice, sing, listen, remember and reconnect — with themselves, with each other and with the teachings of Ram Dass,” says Love Serve Remember Foundation.
